The $$W\ell \nu$$-vertex corrections to W-boson mass in the R-parity violating MSSM

Abstract Inspired by the astonishing $$7\sigma$$ 7 σ discrepancy between recent CDF-II measurement and standard model prediction on mass of W -boson, we investigate $$\lambda '$$ λ ′ -corrections to vertex $$\mu \rightarrow \nu _\mu e\bar{\nu _e}$$ μ → ν e ¯ decay in context R -parity violating minimal supersymmetric model. These corrections can raise -boson independently. Combined with Z -pole kaon measurements, $$m_W \lesssim 80.37$$ m W ≲ 80.37 GeV be reached. We find that these cannot explain CDF result entirely at $$2\sigma$$ 2 even $$3\sigma$$ 3 levels. However, together oblique contributions accordant relevant bounds level.
